Our partner, Akira Moriwaki held a seminar in October 2009 entitled "Recent Developments in the Chinese Anti-monopoly Law -Recent Trends in Cartel Regulations and Guidelines-" and hosted the Japan Planning Institute. The seminar provided an overview of preparations for the implementation of China's new leniency program, as well as a practical analysis of the merger remedies that have been imposed by the Chinese MOFCOM in recent merger control cases.
