The conference entitled “International Competition Enforcement” will be held on April 20th and 21st, 2005 in Tokyo. The conference, presented by the International Bar Association's Global Forum for Competition Policy in cooperation with the Japan Federation of Bar Associations, will gather prominent regulators, lawyers and other professionals in the areas of competition, antitrust, and trade law. Our partner Akira Kawamura will co-chair the conference and deliver the commencement address. Hideto Ishida, a competition law specialist at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, will present a lecture during the session entitled “Merger control: recent developments in Europe, USA and Japan”. Also, our partners Tatsu Katayama and Shigeyoshi Ezaki will participate in the conference as organizing committee members.
