[DEI] We held a Lunchtime Session with our In-House Massage Therapists

Our firm is committed to promoting DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) with the goal of creating a workplace where everyone can thrive, and where diverse employees understand and respect one another.

As part of these efforts, on Friday, May 22, we held a lunchtime session featuring three visually impaired in-house massage therapists who are active members of our firm, along with staff members.

At the session, the participants were divided into three groups and engaged in discussions on a wide range of topics, such as the in-house massage therapists’ work as healthcare assistants and their daily lives, how everyone can approach people using white canes, health management in general, and acupressure points.

The participants shared positive feedback such as, “I was able to get to know the in-house massage therapists more deeply”; “It was very meaningful to hear stories that I rarely get to hear”; and “It was an enjoyable time that also deepened the bonds among the participants.”

This session served as a valuable opportunity for each staff member to deepen his/her understanding of diverse backgrounds and characteristics.

Our firm will continue to value these opportunities for exchange and learning as we further promote the creation of an inclusive and comfortable workplace.
