In preparation for the implementation of “Legal Brain Business” utilizing generative AI, Bengo4.com,Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director, President and CEO: Taichiro Motoe, hereinafter “Bengo4.com”) and Anderson Mori & Tomotsune have entered into a basic agreement to collaborate with Bengo4.com by providing them with advisory services.

In working on the development of legal products that allow referencing different kinds of legal data, Bengo4.com is setting the goal of developing “Legal Brain (Vertical LLM)”, Japan’s first large-scale language model specializing in law, and it has already started providing legal advice using an AI chatbot as well as a book search service equipped with AI for attorneys and corporate legal affairs.

To further improve the accuracy of the search functions and results of these AI products, we are pleased to announce that Bengo4.com has launched its “Legal Brain Business”, and our firm will be providing advisory services to this project aimed at developing suitable functions for AI products in the legal practice, at giving feedback on and advising on improvements to UI/UX when used in an actual legal practice, and at providing counsel on legal issues.
