Pathways Japan was established in 2021 with the aim to open new pathways for refugees through education. Since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war, Pathways Japan cooperates with universities and language schools in Japan to admit and support Ukrainian students. On June 16, as part of its continuous supports to Pathways Japan as pro-bono, our firm's Tokyo office hosted the orientation for the Ukrainian students who have just arrived to Japan and held a welcome reception to pass on the words of encouragement to them.
