On November 15, 2012, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Hironobu Takesaki bestowed the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon on Mr. Kawamura and presented him with a certificate.  Mr. Kawamura also had the honor of being presented to Emperor Akihito at the Imperial Palace where he heard His Majesty speak.
