Practice
Mr. Miyano's practice covers a wide range of areas, including general corporate, commercial transactions, M&A, labor issues and international finance (including securities issuance). So, he is the real "general corporate" lawyer himself. He also handles litigations. Among his wide coverage of practice areas, he has been involved in many cases and transactions relating to the telecommunication business. He is also knowledgeable regarding restructuring of defaulted bonds, the conduct of related bondholders' meetings. He served as a regular member of the study group on Japanese legal issues for the Ministry of Finance of Japan relating the bondholders' actions for defaulted bonds.
