Practice

Koya Uemura is a partner working primarily in the field of antitrust and competition law. His practice includes advising on various areas of Japanese and international competition law, including merger control, cartel investigations and abuse of dominant position.

He has extensive experiences of representing his clients (including foreign and domestic electronic manufacturers, natural resource companies, high-tech companies, and pharmaceutical companies) in investigation of the Japan Fair Trade Commission. He has also advised telecommunication companies in the field of competition law.
