After serving as a government official at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (the "MITI", currently the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) from 1965 to 1994 and as a director on the board of various major companies from 1994 to 2005, Mr. Kunio Morikiyo is currently Of Counsel at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune. At the MITI, Mr. Morikiyo attended and significantly contributed to various international conferences. Also, he was engaged in framing the amendments to very significant laws in the Japanese business world, such as the Extraordinary Measures Law for Implementation and Facilitation of Specified Start-Up Business and the Trade Insurance Law.

The University of Tokyo (LL.B., 1965). Worked for the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (currently, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry), April 1965-June 1994. Served as director, Electric Power Development Co., Ltd., June 1994-April 1998; Nissho Iwai Corporation (currently, Sojitz Corporation), June 1998-March 2001; Life Co., Ltd., April 2001-March 2005.
