Practice

Kentaro Hirayama is an associate working primarily in the field of Antitrust law (advising on both Japan FTC's cartel investigations and merger filings), government regulations and other Corporate Legal Affairs.

In addition to his professional experience at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, he worked for the Japan Fair Trade Commission (July 2007 – June 2010), where he was working as a case manager in Marin Hose case and other high-profile international cartel cases and an abuse of dominance case. In the course of these world-wide parallel investigations, he also engaged in information exchanges, coordination of simultaneous dawn-raids and other discussions with foreign competition authorities.
