Our Partner, Yuhki Tanaka has been appointed as a member of the Special Project Team in Japan Business Federation (Keidanren), the biggest business association in Japan, for examining various labor and employment issues in M&A context. This Special Project Team has analyzed and evaluated the on-going discussions at Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare about any possible amendment to employment transfer rules in case of business transfer or company split, prepared Keidanren’s own opinion on such discussions, and examined various labor and employment issues in M&A context. Yuhki Tanaka has provided his advice and recommendations on such labor and employment issues as law practitioner having deep expertise in both Labor & Employment laws and M&A-related laws.
