We are pleased to announce that on December 18, 2014, Anderson Mori & Tomotsune (“AMT”) and Bingham Sakai Mimura Aizawa (“BSMA”) entered into a memorandum of understanding to integrate the practices of AMT and BSMA’s principal attorneys (consisting of approximately 60 attorneys and related staff). The targeted integration date is in or around April 2015.

BSMA has a pre-eminent track record in turnaround and insolvency matters and exceptionally well regarded crisis management and corporate practices, including M&A. Integration of AMT’s full service offerings and BSMA’s turnaround and insolvency experience and expertise is highly complementary and will greatly expand our ability to provide a broader set of legal services to clients.

The considerable synergies between our two practices will also enable us to serve our clients with even greater efficiency, quality and responsiveness, and deliver even more successful outcomes.
