Tatsu Katayama and Koya Uemura participated in the "2nd Asia Pacific Regional Forum Conference"
The "2nd Asia Pacific Regional Forum Conference and Bar Leaders day - Asia after the GFC - leading the global recovery" was held by the International Bar Association from November 17 to 19, 2010 in Tokyo.
On November 18th, our partner, Tatsu Katayama co-chaired the Transaction and Corporate Law session entitled "Cross-border mergers, acquisitions and investments in Asia: trends and opportunities in Asia following the financial crisis" (part 1), and "Regional acquisition, merger and investment developments: sector-specific issues and opportunities in Asia today" (part 2). Our partner, Koya Uemura made a presentation entitled "Japan's Recent Merger Investigation of Foreign Companies" in the Competition session, "Merger control in the Asia-Pacific region" (part 1).
