Akira Kawamura received a courtesy call from the Iraq Ambassador Lukman Faily
On July 5, 2010, our partner Akira Kawamura who is also the vice president of the International Bar Association (IBA) received a courtesy call from the Iraq Ambassador Lukman Faily. They talked about the active participation of the Iraq and Kurdish Bar Association regarding the 2011 Dubai annual meeting.
Last March, Akira Kawamura educated the Iraq lawyers on the "International Human Rights Law and Humanitarian Law" with the help of the Japan Federation of Bar Association (JFBA), in Prague, Czech Republic.

In addition, the Foreign Ministry and the Japan Federation of Bar Association (JFBA) in tandem provided peace building support to Iraq by conducting an assistance program with the International Legal Assistance Consortium (ILAC) and the International Bar Association (IBA) funded by the United Nation.
