Our partner, Shinji Kusakabe participated in the "IBA Annual Conference 2009" organized by the International Bar Association which was held from October 4 to 9, 2009 in Madrid. In the "The IBA Guidelines on Conflicts of Interest in International Arbitration - a perspective five years later" session, Mr.Kusakabe gave a speech entitled "Obligations of Arbitrators to Investigate and Disclose Conflicts of Interest - How Members of Large Law Firms should Satisfy These Obligations-".
