We are very pleased to announce that as of January 2005, Mr. Atsushi Komase has joined our firm as an associate attorney.

Mr. Komase was admitted to the Japanese bar in 1996 after receiving his Bachelor of Laws from Tokyo University in 1993. He obtained his Masters in Law from Columbia University School of Law in 2001.

Prior to joining Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, Mr. Komase was an associate with Mitsui, Yasuda & Wani, where he mainly practiced Financial and Securities Transactions. He was also trained at a law firm in the United States.　He joined Tomotsune & Kimura in December 2004.

In addition to developing further his specialized areas, he is eager to expand his practice into various other areas of law.
