Our partner, Osamu Hirakawa, participated in "Asia Pacific Mergers and Acquisitions Conference" which was held on November 24 and 25, 2005 in Hong Kong. The conference, presented by the Business Organization Committee, Corporate Law Section of the International Bar Association ("IBA")'s Legal Practice Divisions and the IBA's Asia Pacific Forum, gathered prominent practitioners and M&A experts. Mr. Hirakawa spoke in the session entitled "Overview and Comparison of Takeover Structure in Asia".
